This evening the boys carved their pumpkins in the backyard while Jamey helped the little girl paint hers. I took some pictures of the event:

About a year and a half ago, I made a post trying to explain this concept. Maybe I didn’t explain it right because some people were confused. My dad’s surgery was successful today. They put in some stainless steel plates and 12 screws. The next step is to make sure we do everything we can to prevent infection. The doctor said he wouldn’t even be removing his bandages during my dad’s stay in the hospital unless he suspected something was wrong.

Below is a picture of a picture of my dad’s leg now. If he had a different sense of humor he could really have fun at airport security from now on. I know I would.
