RC Airshow

Today I went to an RC jet airshow in Mesa with my friend Chris. I don’t have time to write much about it, but it was really cool. Most of the aircraft there are powered by an actual turbine. All the planes were multi-thousand dollar affairs. Below are some photos that I took in no particular order.

    Mark,
Glad you made it out. I half expected the heading to be “25lbs of Awesome!”. You got some good pictures. I enjoyed the company.

I had forgotten about that title from my other air show post. That would have been a good title!

I had a good time, too. The people that build and fly these things are really talented.

Waaaaay too much time on some people’s hands… At least they’re doing something constructive, unlike the people who are about to “commit suicide” in my HOA.

Very cool! Now if only the military could figure out how to strap smart bombs on those things and… Oh, wait… The military already does that, don’t they?
