Touching Holiday Moments
My grandma (who is 83 years old) has come to Phoenix and spent Christmas with our family the past few years. When we lived in Michigan, and she lived nearby, it wasn’t such an ordeal. Last week, she had a medical procedure and something went wrong at the beginning; they’re not sure if it was a stroke, seizure, or something else entirely, but there was a chance that she wouldn’t make it here for Christmas.
My dad isn’t an emotional man, but I knew that he was upset at the prospect that she may not be here this year. As it turns out, she was able to make the trip and my dad and I picked up her (and my aunt) at the airport on Wednesday. For some reason, it almost brought me to tears to see the joy on my dad’s face as he hugged and kissed his mom hello.
I don’t know why, maybe I should be writing Hallmark cards.

Do Your Worst

If only your family could of seen you last night as you thoughtfully went to the garage to get a box to put my “Christmas present” in.
I’m good like that.
“1: Cut a hole in a box…”

I knew I’d find a way to get you to put J.T. on your blog.
Happy Holidays!
