Microsoft’s best innovation in the past several years

Full screen multi-monitor support in the Remote Desktop client. Activate it by starting the client via the following command switch:

mstsc.exe /span

Okay, it’s not really an innovation since it’s been done before, but thanks for including it in the free client!

Touching Holiday Moments

My grandma (who is 83 years old) has come to Phoenix and spent Christmas with our family the past few years. When we lived in Michigan, and she lived nearby, it wasn’t such an ordeal. Last week, she had a medical procedure and something went wrong at the beginning; they’re not sure if it was a stroke, seizure, or something else entirely, but there was a chance that she wouldn’t make it here for Christmas.

My dad isn’t an emotional man, but I knew that he was upset at the prospect that she may not be here this year. As it turns out, she was able to make the trip and my dad and I picked up her (and my aunt) at the airport on Wednesday. For some reason, it almost brought me to tears to see the joy on my dad’s face as he hugged and kissed his mom hello.

I don’t know why, maybe I should be writing Hallmark cards.

It’s a Major Award!

If anyone is still wondering what to get me for Christmas, I would like this to put in my window.

Fragile! Must be Italian!

The Future of Marketing

A really genius marketing campaign that is next to free, but incredibly entertaining. Brought to you by the good people at BlendTec. This blender is awesome! As soon as I can commit $400 towards a blender, I’m going to buy one.
