Making Good
A while ago (okay so it was almost two and a half years ago, so what), I mentioned that I had gotten a tattoo while on vacation in Hawaii. It’s on my right bicep. I’ve just now finally gotten around to taking a picture of it. The characters mean Mercy and Father (oh dear Lord I hope I wasn’t wrong about their meanings), which makes the tattoo mean merciful father or affectionate father.

Nice tattoo.
I bet you’re glad you didn’t opt for the “Overly Friendly” symbol.
Is it Kanji? I have three on my lower back that mean “Grace”, “Strength” and “Spirit”. I hope mine are accurate as well! Although I once had a Japanese man tell me I have part of his name on my back.
Yes, it’s Kanji. I haven’t asked anyone to verify mine.
Even though I researched it fairly well, I can’t be positive since I don’t actually read Kanji.
I mean, you wear a shirt over it usually. Would it have been too much for you to shave that area before taking a picture of it?
Shave my arm? Yes, that is too much to ask. Don’t you think it’d be creepy if I shaved my arm?
