The Sky Is Falling!
Based on this post, I’m sure Scoble wouldn’t care for my license plate if he happened to see it while driving by my well-lit house at night. You’ll be able to hear which house is mine. It’s the one with all four air conditioners blazing away since they’re set at 76 degrees and I live in the desert.
I was taken by surprise by this post; it’s the most irrational post that I’ve read on his blog. This statement is especially irrational and alarmist, “Our society is doomed and we arent [sic] able to come up with real solutions.”
Yeah, I said it. Flame on!

How can I flame on? I mean, you’re right… Nothing we do as a civilization in our current means of technology has any ability to do the damage a single large volcanic eruption could do to earth’s climate.
So, lets do what this guy says and try to destroy the united states’ economy… that way, when humans are able to destroy the climate it won’t be the third world US’s fault.
